I DON’T PHOTOGRAPH WELL. I AM SUPER AWKWARD—CAN YOU HELP ME?
With 20 + years of experience, I am always calm and relaxed and that rubs off on the people I am working with. I’m efficient and effective, providing the guidance you need to create vibrant, authentic portraits that are as real as each moment of your day.
Once you enjoy the experience, the rest is easy, and just like that, we’re back at the party!
WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I shoot Leica. My current fave is the Leica SL and SL2. Ok, I am in love with it. I have a full back up.
Crazy things happen like the time I got tossed in a pool with a bunch of drunken groomsmen. Waterproof cards and a *full* backup system on dry land saved that night! Phew!
Do you use a second shooter?
I have a great team of second shooters that I am able to contract for a nominal rate (approx $450 for an 8 hour day) .
Not all Weddings require a second shooter. During an intimate, low key wedding , I can be more ninja-like working alone.
Do you have any reviews?

How much time should we set aside for wedding day photos?
No one wants to be kept out of the action for too long but it’s realistic to plan for at least an hour. Together we will review your schedule and goals and create a plan to help you balance out your timeline.
How long do you stay on our wedding day?
The average time I spend at a wedding is in the 8-10 hour range. This is all arranged beforehand.
We have a lot of down time during the day. do you charge for that?
Though not common, there are some events that have a major break in the day.
If I am able to accommodate a split schedule, I am happy to do so. That said, downtime can yield incredible moments…
Do we provide a meal for the photographer?
I do not need a seat at a guest table but I do like to eat in the main room. That way, I can be ready to catch a special moment, or two. I’m always on the lookout for those!
What rights do I have to the digital image files?
Looking to be published? I have lots of connections in the industry. Be sure to chat with me about this, if you’re interested.
ARE ALL THE PHOTOS EDITED?
During an 8 hour day, I typically take about 2500 images!
Of these images, approximately 800 images will be edited ( roughly 100 images per hour shot)
Can I have every single image you take from my wedding?
Simply provide me with an external hard drive for storage, as these files are BIG!
What is the turnaround time?
Your sneak peeks are delivered the next day so you can start to share!
The rest of your images will be ready about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.
I do try to accommodate rush requests if I can.
