Kathi Robertson was fabulous! We met Kathi at the Ottawa Wedding show. From the very start we loved Kathi’s work and knew we wanted her to capture our wedding. Kathi takes time to get to know you and makes sure to get an understanding of what you want from your wedding pictures. Over the year leading up to the wedding she was able to answer our questions and stayed in touch.

On the day of she was there early and had many innovative ideas. We let her lead the way with pictures since she is very experienced and has a lot of great insight when it comes to capturing the perfect picture in the environment and with the lighting you’re in. She was excellent at working with us and all our guests and making them comfortable and laugh throughout. We had many comments on her great work and professionalism after the wedding. We absolutely love the pictures we received from Kathi and would recommend her to anyone.

After being kind & flexible enough to meet with us on a day’s notice, we chose Kathi to be our engagement photographer. At the meeting we found her to be incredibly warm and inviting, a good listener and she has an amazing portfolio to boot! We had access to a beautiful museum here in Ottawa so we set a date to meet and were lucky enough to do so while there was a butterfly exhibit in town.

Anyone who has seen Kathi with a camera in hand knows just how talented and focused she is. She took the time to guide us effortlessly through shoots both inside and outside the museum (in -20 degree weather no less). We received our photos back in an incredibly quick turnaround and fell in love with how Kathi captured our love while showing a glimpse at our personalities. She is always extremely easy to reach, despite her busy schedule, and takes the time to be personable and professional. I highly recommend Kathi to all brides/grooms for engagement photos as well as their upcoming weddings.

I met with a bunch of photographers before deciding to go with Kathi. I could tell right away by her easy going personality that she would be a perfect fit for our style of wedding. We didn’t need to prep any “shots” we wanted ahead of time because she is so experienced and thoughtful – we knew she would capture everything we wanted and more. She was very subtle, made us feel completely comfortable, and is also so quick and efficient! We had lots of time to actually enjoy the day and didn’t feel like taking the pics was ‘work’. Not to mention, the pictures are incredible. Thanks, Kathi for the amazing memories!

Kathi was absolutely wonderful to work with. Having never had photos taken of us before, she quickly put us at ease at our engagement shoot, which made the shots on our wedding day go smoothly and effortlessly. With a background in fashion photography she got absolutely amazing and unique shots in the style we were aiming for. She is your girl if you want a professional with an eye for the details! We are looking forward to hiring her again in the future for a session with our puppy – she is a huge dog lover so this was a bonus!

Kathi was simply amazing! She did both our engagement session and our wedding.
She was very professional and creative. She managed to power through our missing bridesmaid dress and we hardly even notice in the shots and braved through the cold to get so many wonderful winter shots.
I had to print almost all of our wedding pictures because there are just so so so many good ones! She does an excellent mix of candid shots as well as fun and fashion portraits. Kathi also has experience as a fashion photographer and it definitely shows.

As a couple who are not used to having their photo taken and are generally quite uncomfortable in front of a camera, at every point Kathi went above and beyond putting us at ease. At our first meeting with Kathi, she answered all of our questions without hesitation. In the build-up to the wedding, she was a plethora of helpful information and would always respond to our emails.

Having multiple sets of parents and extended family members was not a problem for Kathi, she powered through our family shots making everyone feel special. Kathi was always truly professional and quite the ninja, she captured the special candid moments that we were hoping for and we are beyond thrilled with our results.
